If you’ve never tried a handmade Weissman piccolo I would suggest trying one before purchasing a higher end piccolo. Jeff Weissman Handcut the embouchure himself and designed the piccolo personally.

The Handcarved Embouchure is what Jeff calls a “reverse wave”. He feels the cut allows for a faster response. The same airflow is used without losing fullness or quickness.

There is only slight resistance with this cut as the embouchure hole is slightly larger.

The headjoint is Cocobolo and the body is aged Grenadilla wood.
